Taking a Closer Look
As you know we are using the Roman alphabet, which consists of twenty six symbols we call letter. It consists of capital letter, called uppercase and small letters we call lowercase. The term date back to the early days of printing when the capital letters were stored in the upper drawer or case and the smaller letter were below in the lower cases.
